DJs would cross out artist names and titles on their records so that other DJs couldn’t identify the songs they were playing. If a DJ discovered a new scratch, he’d keep it a secret. The DJ booth was always out of bounds - only staff and close friends were allowed in. But today, it’s different. Now, the most successful DJs love to share their tricks of the trade. They make free tutorials, create informational podcasts and join hands to promote DJ culture. They also want to give aspiring DJs a helping hand in getting started. Our DJ Mentorship Program will give successful DJs a platform to mentor DJs who are starting out. It is a way to instill history and pass the torch to the next generation. It’s also a way to network and get to know key people within our DJ community. You will land more gigs, learn about marketing and relationship management.
