Thousands of youth have the passion and talent to be successful DJs. Yet DJs under 18 make only 5% of the market. Why? Most youth just don’t have the money for equipment and training.
A starter DJ studio costs $2,000-$10,000, making it nearly impossible for many youth to even explore this opportunity.
84% of 16-24-year-olds don’t know how to turn their passions into careers
49% say lack of qualifications stops them from exploring careers they seek
Schools across the nation have slashed arts programs, more so during the COVID crisis, though the arts employ millions of Americans.
