Every DJ, nightclub, bar, restaurant, church, university, hotel and museum stores old AV gear that they no longer use. Our old gear is just sitting there collecting dust, losing value and occupying valuable space. Some of us are even paying monthly fees for a storage unit that exceeds the value of the equipment we are hoarding. It is time for us to let go of the old, make room for the new and pave the way for the next generation of DJs and musicians.
DONATE OLD GEAR TO HELP AN ASPIRING DJ
Our gear recycling program is designed to help aspiring DJs purse their dreams
and help the existing music community let go of things that no longer serve them (and receive tax benefits).
Your donated gear will either be rehomed to an aspiring DJ or sold in our AV thrift store
which helps existing musicians get the gear they need at an affordable price.
Either way, your gear is going to a good home and all the proceeds will be funneled into our programs to help the DJ community.
ACCEPTING GEAR NOW
If you’re located in the NYC / NJ area we are currently accepting donations of used gear for aspiring DJs. Equipment must be in working condition and can be anything that’s associated with DJing, live sound and lighting, studio equipment, music production, computers, tablets and more.
